13/05/2013 Stig Larsson: The Enfant Terrible of Scandinavian Literature / When it feels like it is about to end
Stig Larsson (b. 1955), the honest and uncompromising writer, critic, essayist, poet, playwright, actor and film director, is coming to our final session of the spring.
Larsson graduated from the Dramatiska institutet i Stockholm and made his debut in 1979 with his novel, Autisterna (The Autists), and began with the Swedish postmodernism. He has published over twenty books, including novels, short stories and collections of poems and has recently written an autobiographical novel, När det känns att det håller på ta slut, a self-revealing text about lost love, grief after his parents’ death and the struggle to get out of “that which eats into him.”
