The strange phenomena we call thoughts—what do they look like? How do they develop? How do they convey their messages? What relation do thoughts have with the physical world? Thought legs, thought knees and thought teeth are some of the discoveries this lecture will explore. Cannibalism also turns out to be a natural part of the everyday life of thoughts.
Join us for a performance lecture by Norwegian artist Kurt Johannessen. Working primarily with performance and installation art Johannessen is one of Scandinavia’s major performance artists and is prolific contributor to the international performance art scene. Since the beginning of the 1980s he has produced approximately 200 different works and produced over 60 independent publications. Recent projects include, Rock and Rock 2, Belfast International Performance festival 2013; Rock and Wind, La Muga Caula, 8th international Performance festival 2012; THE EXPLINATION OF NEARLY EVERYTHING, Bergen 2012.
